Steffen Roemer

Steffen Roemer is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in app, game, and VR development. Currently, Roemer serves as Division President of Technology at TransPerfect, overseeing GlobalLink Strings since December 2018. As the Founder of orkitec since 2009, Roemer has developed a strong portfolio in technology innovation. Roemer co-founded Applanga, a translation management platform, and served as CTO, contributing to the automation of app and game localization processes from December 2014 to April 2024. Previous roles include CTO and Co-Founder at embraase and Lead Developer Mobile at both Payleven Holding GmbH and Rocket Internet GmbH. Steffen Roemer also held prominent positions at kunst-stoff GmbH and Exozet Games GmbH, focusing on game development across various platforms.
