Ty Trainer

Ty Trainer is a specialist in AI and machine translation strategy, consulting, and program development, with experience across various organizational verticals. They have provided freelance translation, interpretation, and proofreading services from Portuguese and Spanish to English since 2015. Prior to this, Ty held several roles at TransPerfect, including Director of AI/MT Consulting & Implementation, and was a Project Manager and In-House Translator at ContactoChile Traducción & Conferencias SpA. Ty’s academic background includes a Master of Translation and Language Services from the Universidade do Porto and a BA with a double major from the University of Arizona. Originally from the US, Ty is currently based in Porto, Portugal.
