Sean Lightowler is a drug discovery scientist with extensive experience in both large pharma and biotech, specializing in drug target validation and discovery across various therapeutic areas. They have successfully led multifunctional projects, including the biology leadership of the drug discovery project that advanced ciforadenant into clinical trials for cancer. Sean has held senior management roles in drug discovery biology and has managed external collaborations, contributing to the development of paroxetine for anxiety disorders. As a co-founder and director of Saretius, they have also overseen a company that provides preclinical experimental services to over 80 organizations since its establishment in 2008.
