Tancred Yip

Tancred Yip has a long and varied work experience. Tancred began their career in 2008 as an Assistant Coach at the Etobicoke Badminton Club. In 2010, they became a Lifeguard/Instructor at the City of Toronto. From 2013 to 2015, they were an Executive Member of the McMaster Photography Club. During this time, they also held roles as a Senior Student Consultant and Technical Support Analyst at McMaster University. In 2017, they became an IOT Systems Developer and Engineering Team Lead at 3Dstream Inc., as well as the CTO. In 2018, they became a Design/Prototyping Consultant at TransPod Inc. In 2020, they founded Innovation Tank TO. In 2021, they became the Volunteer Coordinator and Makerspace Technical Lead at The Forge McMaster. Most recently, they became the CEO of MyPalate Inc. in 2019.

Tancred Yip attended McMaster University from 2012 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Automation Engineering Technology.
