Max Smith

Max Smith has extensive experience in investigations, notably serving as the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Investigations at the US Department of Transportation Office of Inspector General since August 1998. In this role, Max Smith manages personnel and investigative activities in the south central region, overseeing offices in Fort Worth, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, and Denver, CO. Prior to this position, Max Smith was a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations from June 1991 until December 2006 and held a similar role at the Guam Attorney General's Office from 1995 to 1997. Max Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the American Public University System and has been retired since November 2018.
