Kurt Bugbee

Kurt Bugbee is an accomplished engineer and investor with a proven ability to build scalable systems and deliver impactful results. He was a Founding Engineer at Transpose, where he engineered robust, real-time blockchain data indexing pipelines for large institutions. Transpose was acquired by Chainalysis in May 2023.

Prior to Transpose, Kurt was an Engineering Lead at DigitalOcean from 2018 to 2022. He played a key role in developing and optimizing cloud infrastructure products that supported the company’s growth and success, culminating in DigitalOcean's IPO in 2021.

Since 2021, Kurt has also been an Angel Investor, providing funding and mentorship to early-stage technology companies. He draws on his deep technical expertise and entrepreneurial experience to help startups scale and achieve their goals.

Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he graduated in 2017.
