Angel Chan

Angel Chan currently serves as the AVP and Financial Controller for Asia Pacific at TransRe, a position held since 2018, and is recognized as a Key Person in the Financial Control Function under the HK Insurance Ordinance, overseeing both Financial Accounting and Technical Accounting in the region. Prior to TransRe, Angel was the Finance Director at Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific from 2016 to 2018, managing Finance, Compliance, and Administration for the Hong Kong Hub. Angel's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at Coface from 2006 to 2016, where responsibilities included leading Finance for Asia Pacific and serving as Acting CFO. Earlier career roles were held at Ernst & Young as a Senior Accountant. Academically, Angel holds an MBA and a BBA in Accounting from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
