Ben Casey is an experienced data analyst and actuarial professional, currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Data Analyst on the Global Portfolio Management Team at TransRe since February 2019. Prior to this role, Ben was a Senior Actuarial Analyst involved in the global implementation of IFRS 17. Ben gained valuable experience at AXA XL as an Analyst in Corporate Actuarial, focusing on reserving for the London and EMEA regions from December 2014 to February 2019. Earlier roles include Corporate Analyst II at esure and Senior Sales Assistant at World of Water Crawley. Ben also completed a vacation internship at EPSRC, studying instabilities of magnetohydrodynamic flows. Ben holds an MMath and BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Leeds, obtained in 2013.
