Carl Cooper

Carl Cooper is a seasoned insurance executive with extensive experience in property insurance and reinsurance. Since May 2006, Carl has served as Senior Vice President and U.S. Property Leader at Transatlantic Reinsurance, having previously held the position of Vice President and North American Property Leader at GE/ERC from October 2005 to May 2006. Prior to that, Carl was Regional Vice President for E&S Property at Arch Insurance Group from March 2002 to October 2005 and spent nearly nine years at GE/ERC as Vice President of P&C Treaty. Carl began the professional journey at Aetna Casualty & Surety, working as a Senior Property Underwriting Consultant from January 1988 to August 1993. Carl earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, between 1982 and 1986.
