Peter Hui

Peter Hui is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and risk management. Currently serving as the VP Underwriting at TransRe since November 2021, Peter specializes in facultative reinsurance for Management and Professional Liability insurance across the US and Canada. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Assistant Vice President at Chubb, where responsibilities included underwriting Financial Lines for publicly traded companies in the Southeast region. Earlier career experience includes underwriting D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Crime Liability at The Hartford, as well as an internship as an Operations Analyst at Permal Asset Management. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Binghamton University, obtained in 2008.
