Satinder Bhalla

President and Co-founder at TransSIGHT

Satinder Bhalla has over 20 years of experience in the technology services industry. Satinder began their career in 1999 as a Project Manager/Technical Analyst/Product Specialist at ESRI. In 2004, they joined SAIC as an Assistant Vice President of Intelligent Transportation Systems and later became the Director of Spatial and Transportation (ITS) Programs. In 2012, they moved to Cubic Transportation Systems as the Senior Director of Managed Service Solutions and in 2013 they joined the Advisory Board of the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA). In 2014, they became the President and Co-founder of TransSIGHT, a recognized leader in transportation technology development. At TransSIGHT, Bhalla has managed a variety of projects, including Business Intelligence Solutions for WETA, SamTrans, and Caltrain, Digital Initiatives for Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), MTC Clipper Back-Office and Operational Services, SF Bay 511, CCTA Mobility on Demand, and the City and County of Honolulu HOLO Program.

Satinder Bhalla holds a Master in Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business, with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General. Satinder also holds an M.S from Buffalo State University, with a specialization in GIS and a field of study in Urban Planning. Theirundergraduate degree is from Guru Nanak Dev University, with a field of study in Urban Planning. Theirhigh school education was from Kendriya Vidyalaya, with a field of study in Science.
