Marco Lai

Marco Lai has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Marco started their career at Deloitte China in 2007 where they worked as an International Tax and M&A Group Manager for ten years. At Deloitte, they provided tax advisement and conducted tax due diligence for M&A deals. In 2017, Marco joined Corning Display Technologies (China) Co. Ltd. as a Business Project Manager. Marco developed strategic business plans, led greenfield investment implementation, and negotiated with banks for favorable rates. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as the CFO & COO at LL Capital, designing and establishing the group structure while ensuring financial and tax compliance. Most recently, since 2020, Marco has been serving as an Investment Director at Transsion Holdings. In this role, they manage group entities, conducts due diligence of potential targets, and prepares investment reports for management review.

Marco Lai obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (International Relations) & Economics from National Taiwan University in 2006. Marco then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management at Columbia Business School from 2015 to 2016. In 2014, they also obtained a certification from the Board of Accountancy, New Hampshire, known as AICPA.
