Ben Thackwray is the Head of Solutions Consulting at TransUnion, having previously served as the Head of Credit Risk at both Tandem Bank and Oplo. With over 17 years in the Financial Services sector, Ben has specialized in credit risk and consultancy, holding senior roles at leading credit reference agencies including Experian and Callcredit. Ben’s expertise spans various areas of customer lifecycle management, business transformation, and international markets. An accomplished adventurer, Ben is also a Guinness World Record holder for ocean rowing and has extensive experience in ultra-distance running and mountaineering. Ben completed the Aspiring Leaders Programme at Ashridge Executive Education and earned a BSc (Hons) in Physical Activity, Exercise & Health from Leeds Beckett University.
