David Jacobs

David Jacobs is the Regulatory and Legislative Counsel at TransUnion, having transitioned from a long tenure as Senior Counsel in the Office of Regulations at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where they drafted significant regulations related to consumer financial privacy and collaborated with diverse stakeholders. They previously served as Consumer Protection Counsel at the Electronic Privacy Information Center and held various legal internship positions, including with the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary. David holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
