Mark Freestone is a strategy-focused problem solver with extensive experience in investment banking and consulting. They served as Chief Commercial Officer for Global Banking at HSBC from 2021 to 2025, leading business strategies and performance initiatives. Prior to this, Mark consulted at McKinsey & Company from 2017 to 2019 and held leadership roles at Macquarie Group, where they specialized in equity capital markets and M&A transactions. Mark earned an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland. They are currently a Senior Director of Strategy & Planning for Europe at TransUnion.
