Rakesh Shetty

Rakesh Shetty is a seasoned data science and analytics professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Since July 2012, Rakesh has served as Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at TransUnion, leading global operations in analytic advisory services and predictive modeling. Rakesh's career at TransUnion includes roles as Senior Manager, Director, and Senior Director in Data Science and Analytics. Prior to TransUnion, Rakesh held the position of Senior Business Manager at Capital One, focusing on credit policy and analytics for credit card acquisition, where responsibilities included approval strategies and predictive modeling. Additional experience includes a role as Senior Manager at HSBC. Rakesh holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with Applied Statistics from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visveswaraiah Technological University.
