Daniel Baker

Daniel Baker is an experienced Project Director at Transurban, co-leading the Logan West Upgrade Project in partnership with the Queensland State Government. With a robust background in civil engineering, Daniel has transformed the Queensland Capital Maintenance Delivery team, enhancing program management and governance for the Major Maintenance Program. Previous roles include Manager Engineering Commercial at Queensland Motorways, where oversight of procurement and asset management was provided, and Director at Xpedyte, where project management of significant transport projects took place. Daniel's career also features substantial technical roles at Transeducom and GHD, contributing to various major infrastructure projects. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Queensland University of Technology, an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering from Southbank Institute of TAFE, and further executive leadership training from the University of Sydney.
