Hui Chen

Hui Chen is an experienced asset management professional with a robust background in the transport sector, currently serving as Principal Asset Manager - Pavements at Transurban since October 2025. Prior to this role, Hui worked at Ventia for four years, where responsibilities included governance in asset management practices, maintenance management systems standardization, and data analytics to enhance operations through machine learning and data visualizations. Notable previous positions include Network Asset Manager for the Western Roads Upgrade PPP and Manager of Strategic Asset Planning at Downer, where Hui developed long-term maintenance strategies while ensuring budget compliance and performance targets. Hui began career at ARRB Group, progressing from Graduate Civil Engineer to Project Manager in asset management, and has also held engineering positions focused on pavement technology.
