Stream Lead - Westgate Tunnel Project Cybersecurity & Network at Transurban

Steve Tu has extensive work experience in project and program management. Steve currently works at Transurban as a Stream Lead, focusing on cybersecurity and network issues within the West Gate Tunnel Project. Steve also has experience as a Program Manager at Bluescope, where they worked on a large cybersecurity transformation program. Prior to that, they were a Project/Program Manager at EnergyAustralia and Telstra Health, where they were responsible for managing various projects and programs. Steve also has experience at National Australia Bank, MEDIBANK LIMITED, ANZ, KLM Group Limited, Downer EDI Engineering, and AAPT, where they held roles in project management and commercial operations.

From 2018 to 2018, Steve Tu attended ThoughtWorks and studied Agile.

From 1990 to 1997, Steve Tu attended the University of Sydney and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting.

Steve Tu has also obtained additional certifications, including a Change Management certification from Victoria University in January 2008, and a Practitioner accreditation in Project Management from the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) in Victoria in January 1999.

Apart from these formal education institutions, Steve Tu has also received training in various fields from different organizations. Steve Tu received training in Influencing and negotiation skills from Brian Carroll and Associate Pty Ltd. Training in Capability Maturity Model (CMM) was attained from Deloitte Consulting, and Problem Solving and Decision Making training was acquired from Kepner Tregoe Australasia Pty Ltd.
