Jon Wood has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jon currently holds the position of Global Head of Sales at Transvault, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Checkatrade.com for six years, where they held various roles including Sales Director (Trade Acquisition), Interim Sales and Marketing Director, Sales Director, and Head of Sales. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing the acquisition and vetting of new trades, managing a team of 100 salespeople, and leading strategic planning and performance reviews. Before their time at Checkatrade.com, Jon served as the Operations Manager at PPL UK for six years, focusing on sales campaign development and market penetration. Jon also worked as a Best Practice Officer at Groupama Insurance Company Limited, where they were involved in projects to improve the customer experience and reduce wait times in the claims department.
Jon Wood attended Bay House GM School from 1991 to 1996. Jon then pursued A Levels at Fareham College from 1996 to 1998, focusing on Business Studies/Management, Computer Science, and Sports Management.
