Kenneth Kerr has a diverse work experience in the field of structural engineering. Kenneth started their career at CES, Inc as an Engineering Designer in 1998 and worked there until 2000. From 1997 to 2002, they worked at the University of Florida as a Research Engineer. Kerr then joined PBS&J, which was later acquired by Atkins, where they served as a Senior Structural Engineer from 2002 to 2006. Kenneth then moved to Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc, where they worked as a Senior Structural Engineer for over 13 years, from 2006 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at TranSystems as the Assistant Vice President and Central Florida Bridge Leader, responsible for managing the bridge group and handling design and project management responsibilities for complex structural engineering projects.
Kenneth Kerr earned their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida between 1995 and 1999. Kenneth then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering from the same institution from 2000 to 2002. In addition to their degrees, Kenneth holds several Professional Engineer certifications from various licensing boards, including the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Florida Board of Professional Engineers, Georgia Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, and Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners.
