Michael Rieger has a diverse and extensive work experience in the civil engineering field. Michael started their career as an Assistant Surveyor at Monument Engineering in 2004. In the same year, they also worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at Linbeck Group, LLC. Michael continued their internship in 2005 at the Massachusetts Highway Department.

In 2006, Michael joined Geller DeVellis Inc as a Project Civil Engineer, where they developed skills in Autocad and GIS. Michael gained valuable experience and knowledge from talented civil engineers and project managers in various land development projects in the private sector.

In 2007, they joined Stantec Consulting Services as a Project Civil Engineer. Michael was a key member of the Design Team for a 200-acre Lifestyle Center, where they worked on tasks such as drainage design, earthwork calculations, and site grading. Michael also produced plan sets using AutoCAD and performed due diligence on potential projects utilizing data from MassGIS.

Since 2010, Michael has been working at TranSystems. Michael started as a Project Civil Engineer, focusing on highway, site, and bridge projects. Michael'sexperience includes working on a variety of fast-paced projects for MassDOT, ranging from Design/Build projects to intersection improvement and bridge replacement projects. Michael specializes in roadway design with a focus on drainage and utilities. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Senior Civil Engineer at TranSystems, where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Overall, Michael Rieger has demonstrated a strong foundation in civil engineering through their diverse work experience, ranging from internships to project management roles. Michael has developed expertise in Autocad, GIS, roadway design, drainage, and utility systems.

Michael Rieger attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
