Mike Peters

Mike Peters has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Mike began their career in 1989 as a Western Area Communications Specialist at Stratus Computer. In 1994, they joined Cisco Systems as a Consulting Systems Engineer, where they were a Wide Area Networking Technical Specialist responsible for training and network design consulting. In 2000, they became the Vice President of Technology at Axient Communications, a visionary startup building a Content Delivery Network. In 2002, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Hummingbird Defense Systems, an angel-funded Command and Control software startup. From 2003 to 2005, they served as Vice President of Network Infrastructure Solutions Practice at Calence, Inc. Mike then joined Wells Fargo Services as Technology Manager of Network Planning Services in 2005. In 2006, they were recruited to GoDaddy.com, Inc. as Director of Network Engineering. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Senior Technology Specialist at CA Technologies. Finally, in 2008, they joined BackChecked as Chief Information and Security Officer, responsible for all infrastructure architecture, implementation and operations. In 2022, they joined Trapp Technology as a Software Engineer.

Mike Peters attended Northern Arizona University from 1978 to 1981, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Computer Science.
