Pascal Simoens

Pascal Simoens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and management within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Business Manager for Global Inquiries at Trasis since May 2025, Pascal focuses on Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO). Prior roles include Business Development Manager for Global Inquiries at Basic Pharma and InnoSer, where the emphasis was also on CDMO and Contract Research & Development (CRO). Pascal's career began with positions at Charles River Laboratories in (pre-)clinical research, followed by research roles at KU Leuven, Universiteit Antwerpen, and Ghent University, concentrating on various aspects of molecular mechanisms and therapeutic development. Pascal holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Antwerp and a Sustainable Business Management certification from the University of Cambridge.
