Jonny Hansen

Jonny Hansen is a distinguished tribologist and Assistant Professor at Luleå University of Technology, where they focus on tribology for electric vehicles. As the Lead Engineer for EV Tribology at TRATON, Jonny contributes to the design, lab testing, and simulation efforts for electric vehicle technology. Previously, Jonny conducted research as an Industrial PhD Student at Scania Group, specializing in fluid film lubrication and has held various engineering roles in electrified drivetrains and tribology. Jonny holds a PhD in Machine Elements and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology.
