Lucio Monaco

Lucio Monaco is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as a Release Train Engineer at TRATON GROUP since July 2025, Lucio leads lean-agile transformations for a Value Creation Team within the global R&D organization. Prior experience includes a tenure at Scania Group from February 2014 to July 2025, where Lucio held several roles, including Brand Chief Engineer and Object Leader, overseeing significant technical projects and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Earlier roles at KTH Royal Institute of Technology involved research engineering and the development of automated test rigs, supplemented by an internship at SG Fly Evolution. Lucio holds a Licentiate of Engineering in Energy Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, complemented by a technical degree in Aeronautical Constructions from ITI A. Malignani.
