Peter Kai Wimmer

Peter Kai Wimmer is an experienced information security professional, currently serving as the Head of Information Security & Governance and Information Security Officer at TRATON GROUP since June 2020. Previously, Wimmer held the position of Head of Information Security and Information Security Officer at MAN Energy Solutions from July 2018 to May 2020, and at MAN Diesel & Turbo from February 2013 to June 2018. Wimmer began a career in information security as the Chief Operating Officer at atsec information security GmbH, where responsibilities included serving as a principal security consultant and auditor. Additional roles include leading the IT security team at Haitec AG and working as a system engineer at Haitec GmbH. Wimmer holds a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, completed between 1991 and 1998.
