Stephan Kopp is an accomplished engineer specializing in aerodynamics and climatization, currently serving as the Global Unit Head for Aerodynamics & Climatization at TRATON GROUP R&D since 2025. Prior to this role, Kopp held a position as Senior Manager for Aerodynamics, Body & HVAC at MAN Truck & Bus SE from 2004 to 2025 and taught a course on vehicle aerodynamics at the University of Stuttgart from 2014 to 2025. They have also served as Chairman of the Aero Expert Group for the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) since 2015 and worked as a project and test engineer at Opel between 1997 and 2001. Kopp earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology from the Technical University of Munich in 1997.
