In 1998, Managing Director, Phil Dalley established travelmakers to fill a gap in the travel marketplace for quality, individually designed holidays. Their service would replace the routine brochure packages typical of the eighties and better cater for the more experienced and mature traveller seeking individually tailored travel experiences.

By offering these unique packages and maintaining sound principles of customer satisfaction, travelmakers quickly became known as Canberra's leading travel agent for Worldwide and European travel.
