Traveling Surgeons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential surgical services to underserved communities in developing countries. Our mission is to address critical healthcare needs, promote health equity, and improve the quality of life for individuals and families in need. Through our surgical missions, training programs, and community outreach initiatives, we aim to create lasting impact and foster sustainable healthcare solutions. With a committed team of medical professionals, volunteers, and supporters, we strive to make a difference one surgery at a time.

Traveling Surgeons was founded in 2023 by Dr. Handel Robinson, a compassionate surgeon who was inspired to make a difference during a solo mission to Rwanda and his wife Darya Robinson. Since then, the organization has grown to include a dedicated team of medical professionals, volunteers, and supporters. Traveling Surgeons is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States and operates with a board of directors providing governance and oversight.
