Jim Sutcliffe

Jim Sutcliffe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental management. Currently serving as Sustainability Manager at Travelopia since July 2022, Sutcliffe focuses on advancing sustainable practices within the travel sector. Prior to this role, Sutcliffe was Group Environmental Development Manager at Lloyd's Register from April 2010 to July 2022, where responsibilities included leading the organization’s environmental strategy, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and achieving global certification for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. Earlier career experience includes a position as Senior Business Assurance Analyst at Lloyd's Register and a brief role as a Planning Technician at Beca, where research on sustainability in rail transport was conducted. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Sustainability from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of Liverpool.
