Dan McNamee

Dan McNamee is a seasoned US capital markets attorney currently serving as a Partner at Travers Smith since August 2011, specializing in initial public offerings, private capital raisings, equity transactions, and advisory work on M&A transactions across Europe and the United States. Prior to this role, McNamee worked as a Lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from October 2006 to May 2011, where significant pro bono work was done for the Clinton Foundation on access to AIDS and HIV medication in developing countries. McNamee's legal career began as a Law Clerk at the United States Department of State, focusing on international claims and investment disputes, and included a role as a Trade and Commerce Assistant at the Embassy of Afghanistan, where research and memoranda were prepared regarding international trade policy and development.
