Laura Smith

Laura Smith is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Travers Smith since May 2017, following roles as Senior Counsel and Senior Associate Lawyer in the finance department. Prior to this, Laura spent nearly six years at Clifford Chance LLP, initially as an Associate solicitor in the Real Estate Finance practice, focusing on investment and development financings across UK and pan-European transactions. Laura's legal career began with a trainee solicitor position at Clifford Chance, undertaking rotations in various departments, including a secondment to Lloyds Bank's Commercial Real Estate group. Laura also participated in a winter vacation scheme at Linklaters LLP in 2008. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Oxford, obtained between 2005 and 2008.
