Tom Bannatyne currently serves as an Associate in the Financial Services and Markets division at Travers Smith since October 2023. Prior to this role, Tom was an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP from September 2020 to October 2023, focusing on financial services regulation within the Asset Management group. Tom's experience also includes a legal secondment at GIC from November 2021 to February 2022, as well as completing a comprehensive trainee solicitor program that encompassed four distinct seats: Private Equity, Antitrust, Asset Management with a three-month client secondment, and Data, Privacy and Cybersecurity. Educationally, Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Classics from the University of Oxford, obtained between 2013 and 2017.
