David Stanton

David Stanton is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in application security, particularly within SAP environments. Currently serving as SAP Security Architect at Travis County since July 2007, David has been responsible for designing and implementing security measures for ERP, SRM, BI, SolutionManager, XI, and PI. Previously, David held the position of Senior Information Security Analyst, where responsibilities included conducting internal audits and developing security policies. Prior to Travis County, David worked as Information Security Manager at Moody's KMV from December 2000 to April 2007, managing the security team and overseeing SOX audits. David began the career as a System Engineer at the University of Texas at Austin after earning a BA in Government from the same institution. David holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
