Reyda Taylor

Reyda Taylor is a strategic advisor at Travis County since May 2023, with a diverse background in research, evaluation, and education. Prior roles include serving as an executive fellow at FUSE Corps, where support was provided to enhance digital equity in Travis County, and as a senior consultant at Mission Capital, focusing on data collaboration with nonprofits. Reyda has also held academic positions, including visiting assistant professor at Huston-Tillotson University and lecturer at Texas State University, while engaging in social justice initiatives through the Public Interest Technology University Network. As co-founder and executive director of Capacity Catalyst, Reyda addressed the needs of nonprofits and social entrepreneurs in utilizing research for service improvement. Additional experience includes founding PKE Insights, a research and evaluation firm, and conducting UX research for various organizations. Reyda holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Florida and a BA in Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University.
