Nigel Burch

Nigel Burch has a wide range of experience in finance and commercial roles. Nigel began their career at Boots, where they held various finance project and line roles in the manufacturing divisions. During this time, they gained experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment. Nigel also gained exposure to Values Based Management and activity based management.

After twelve years at Boots, Nigel moved on to Halfords, where they held several positions. Nigel served as the Business Centre Finance Manager, providing decision support and financial planning to the marketing and merchandise department. Nigel also served as the Head of Business Development, leading the strategic planning process and identifying profitable revenue streams. Additionally, Nigel was the Head of Commercial Finance, responsible for providing commercial finance information and decision support to the business.

Nigel also worked at Unipart Automotive as the Head Of Commercial Finance, where they led the commercial finance function and provided business intelligence and decision support to the company. Nigel was responsible for financial control, reporting, and planning processes.

Later in their career, Nigel worked for Whitworths Ltd as the Head of Commercial Finance, where they managed the commercial finance function. Currently, they are working for Travis Perkins plc as the Head of Finance for the Plumbing & Heating Division. In this role, they are involved in transformation projects and financial management.
