Ali Maleki

Ali Maleki is the founder and CEO of Traxen, guiding the company toward its goal of leading trucking innovation rapidly into the future by using breakthrough artificial intelligence-based technologies.

Prior to launching Traxen, he served as the executive director of innovations and next ventures at Nexteer; vice president of connected and autonomous vehicles at Ricardo; and director of electrical systems at Fisker, CODA Automotive and Meritor. Maleki has also held lead engineering roles at Bendix, Visteon and Continental. Throughout his career he has overseen innovative and high-tech projects related to ADAS and automated vehicles, electric vehicles, connectivity, infotainment and telematics, body and chassis control products, and more. He holds multiple patents for his work.

Maleki earned a master’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University, a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Cleveland State University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Saginaw Valley State University. Additionally, he received an Entrepreneurship Professional Certificate from Stanford University.
