Jochen Siegert

Jochen Siegert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial services and fintech. Jochen served as the Director and Head of Financial Products Europe at PayPal, where a financial products business unit was established across Europe. In the role of External Senior Advisor for the Digital Euro at the European Central Bank, Jochen provided expert guidance on digital currency initiatives. As a co-founder and partner of Payment & Banking - PBA Experts GmbH, Jochen leads a prominent platform for fintech content and events. Jochen has held significant leadership positions at Deutsche Bank, including Managing Director and Global Head of Asset Platforms and New Economy Products and Platforms, where innovative digital solutions were developed. Leadership experience extends to Traxpay, where restructuring efforts led to a successful turnaround. Jochen has also contributed to FinLeap as a founding partner and has held roles at Mastercard Europe, KarstadtQuelle Bank AG, and EURO Kartensysteme GmbH. Currently, Jochen is a Senior Advisor at Roland Berger and co-hosts the Finanz-Szene Podcast.
