Markus Kugler has worked in a variety of roles in international business, sports marketing, and foreign direct investment. In 1999, they began their career as a Marketing Specialist at the American Chamber of Commerce. Markus then moved on to become a Project Manager at Gallup GmbH in 2000. From 2001 to 2008, they were the Deputy Director of the State of North Carolina European Office, where they developed a foreign direct investment strategy and recruited New York-based manufacturers. From 2008 to 2017, they worked as an International Project Manager at the Empire State Development Corporation, where they recruited and consulted German companies for direct investment in New York. In 2017, they became a Representative Germany at Business Oregon, where they were responsible for FDI attraction from Germany to Oregon. In 2018, they became the Director of International Business at TRAZER, where they helped the company enter professional sports in Europe and the US. Finally, in 2019, they became the US Representative for ASB GlassFloor, where they were responsible for multi-functional LED sports and entertainment floors from Germany.
Markus Kugler holds a Master's Degree in Teaching, English, and Physical Education from Goethe University Frankfurt. Markus also attended California State University - East Bay.
