David Price

David Price is a seasoned architectural historian with extensive experience in historic preservation and public history outreach. Price began as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center For Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University from June 2003 to June 2004, where responsibilities included research, report writing, and historic preservation planning. Subsequently, Price worked as a Historian and Architectural Historian at New South Associates, Inc. from July 2004 to August 2015, conducting architectural and cultural resource surveys, preparing National Register of Historic Places evaluations and nominations, and engaging in public history projects. Since September 2015, Price has held the position of Senior Architectural Historian at TRC Companies, Inc., continuing to contribute to the field through historical documentation and outreach initiatives. Price earned a Master of Arts in Public History/Historic Preservation from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Sewanee-The University of the South.
