Laurie Kern

Laurie Kern is an experienced professional with a solid background in environmental science and sustainable communities, currently pursuing a Master's degree at Binghamton University. Kern served as a Hall Representative for the College In the Woods Student Government, leading public relations efforts and fostering positive relationships with campus stakeholders. Additional experience includes roles as a Cashier at ShopRite, Line Cook at Batch Coffee, Climate Change Ambassador and Ambassador Coordinator for 1 Million Women, and Administrative Office Assistant at Binghamton University Residential Life, where Kern demonstrated strong organizational and advocacy skills. As a Graduate Assistant for The Kaschak Institute for Social Justice for Women & Girls, Kern contributes to outreach and resource development aligned with the institute's mission.
