Mark Athay

Mark Athay has a diverse range of work experience in the electric power industry. Mark has held the role of Principal Engineer at TRC Companies, Inc., where they gained multi-discipline experience in areas such as substation, transmission, distribution, gas turbines, small hydro, and communications. Mark also served as a Transmission Engineer V / Principal Engineer, working on various transmission, distribution, and substation projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Project Manager at Leidos Engineering LLC, SAIC, and Patrick Energy Services. Mark also has experience as an Engineering Manager at Bountiful City Light and Power and as an Engineer Lead/Senior at PacifiCorp.

Mark Athay's education history begins with their high school education at Mark Morris High School from 1974 to 1977. Mark then pursued an Associates of Arts degree in Engineering at Lower Columbia College from 1977 to 1979. Following that, Mark attended Brigham Young University from 1979 to 1984, where they earned a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering.
