Gary Ling obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Cell and Tissue from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2016. Prior to that, they received their High School Diploma from Whitney M Young High School in 2012. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an EMT-B certification in February 2015 and a CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in August 2014. Gary also holds various other certifications such as USPA A License and B License from the U.S. Parachute Association, a Biological Safety Specialist certification from NAMSA, and a USA Hockey Coach - Level II certification from USA Hockey.
