Sheila Handy

Sheila Handy has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Sheila started their career in 1998 with Upsher-Smith Laboratories, LLC, where they held positions as a HR Strategic Business Partner and later as the U.S. Head of Human Resources. Sheila led the global HR function for a pharmaceutical company until 2020.

From 2020 to 2022, Sheila worked as the Head of Human Resources and Strategic HR Business Partner at Crucial Care. Sheila oversaw the HR operations for a network of outpatient clinics.

In 2022, they moved on to FIS as the Employee Experience | Listening Lead, contributing to the company's technology solutions for the financial industry.

Currently, Sheila is the Director of Human Resources at Treace Medical Concepts, Inc., focusing on advancing surgical care for bunion deformities. Sheila leads the HR Business Partner team to provide the necessary HR solutions for employee success.

Sheila Handy, SPHR, MA holds a Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance with a focus on HR Management Core Curriculum from Truman State University. Sheila also holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Math from the University of Minnesota Morris. In addition, Sheila has obtained the Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI in the year 2000.
