Tom Barker

Tom Barker is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, quality, and manufacturing operations. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Inventor at Sigma-SOS and as a freelance consultant since September 2013, Tom has held significant roles including Principal Engineer Consultant at Treace Medical Concepts, Inc., and Consultant at PMI. Previously, Tom contributed to Maxim Surgical and Forecreu as an Engineering Consultant and Consultant, respectively. From 1995 to July 2013, Tom was with Medtronic Sofamor Danek in various principal engineering roles. Additional experience includes managerial positions at Medtronic Spine & Biologics and Smith + Nephew, as well as a foreman role at Chicago Bridge & Iron Nuclear. Educational background includes studies at the State Technical Institute @ Memphis.
