Alice Gu

Alice Gu has a diverse work experience in the field of product design and user experience. Alice started their career at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development China as a User Experience & Connected Car Intern in 2015. Later, they worked at Indiana University Bloomington as an Associate Instructor and Teaching Assistant from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, they joined Cox Automotive Inc. as a User Experience Design Intern & Part-time, and later became a User Experience Designer from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Alice Gu is working at Treasure Data as a Senior Product Designer since February 2020 and recently promoted to the role of Lead Product Designer in May 2022.

Alice Gu has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Computer Interaction Design (HCI/d) from Indiana University Bloomington. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.ENG.) degree in Automation from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition, Alice Gu has obtained a certification in "Thinking like a developer for designers" from Maven in 2023.
