Vishal Patel

Vishal Patel has diverse professional experience ranging from healthcare to entrepreneurship. Vishal started their career as a Volunteer Medical Technician at Children's Hospital Boston in 2011. Later, in 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Hospital for Special Care and also founded their own coffee brand, A Happy Life, where they served as the CEO/Founder. In this role, they successfully launched and managed the brand, which gained distribution in over 60 retailers/businesses in the New England area. Vishal also opened a coffee shop called the Happiness Lab.

Moving forward, Vishal joined YES (Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainability) as a Project Coordinator in 2012. Vishal played a key role in launching the YouthTrade initiative and recruited over 40 young entrepreneurs to expand their socially conscious businesses. Vishal co-managed a team of 6 to guide these entrepreneurs and connect them with markets like Whole Foods and Nordstrom.

In 2017, Vishal worked as a Sales and Marketing Consultant at PCI Imports, LLC and as an Operations and Marketing Consultant at The Juice Box New Haven. Vishal later became a Production Manager / Sous Chef at Court Street Grocers.

Vishal's career then transitioned to the tech industry, where they joined Flatiron School in 2018 as a Data Science Instructor after completing their Data Science Bootcamp. In 2019, they joined Treasure Data as a Customer Success Engineer and gradually progressed to roles such as Solutions Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager, and currently holds the position of Director Pre-Sales Solution Architecture.

Throughout their career, Vishal has gained extensive experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, management, and entrepreneurship.

Vishal Patel obtained a degree in Big Data with Amazon Cloud, Hadoop/Spark and Docker from NYC Data Science Academy in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University from 2008 to 2012. Vishal completed their high school education at Xavier High School from 2004 to 2008, and their primary education at Holy Trinity School from 1996 to 2004.
