John Simons

VP - Customer Operations and Technology at TreasuryCurve

John Simons has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years. John began their career in 1989 as Managing Director at Bank of America, where they led teams providing business intelligence, custody administration, mutual fund shareholder services, and broker dealer processing services. John also developed cash investment solutions for a range of client types including web transaction and account servicing, automated sweep investments and platforms for 1031 exchanges. In 2016, they joined BlackRock as Digital Strategies, where they developed product and service solutions for the institutional clients of the BlackRock cash investments business. John worked with tech partners and the Aladdin database to design and build web services portals for money market funds and separately managed accounts, as well as designing analytical tools to assess relative total returns among asset types and fixed income portfolio stress testing. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Treasury Curve as VP - Customer Operations and Technology. In this role, they are responsible for developing and implementing client solutions for treasury management and investment services on Treasury Curve's advanced cloud platform, refining global operational processes, enhancing controls and driving process simplification, and expanding investment options available to clients.

John Simons holds a BA in English and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Certificates in Data Processing and Database Management from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from Bank of America, Series 63 from FINRA, and Series 7 from FINRA.
