Sameer Rai

Sameer Rai is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. Currently serving as Director of Data Science at Tredence Inc. since July 2022, Sameer has previously held the position of Group Project Manager - Data Science at NEC Corporation India Pvt Ltd. from February 2014 to July 2022, where responsibilities included product development, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of Agile methodologies. Prior roles encompassed senior management and analytical positions at companies such as Netscribes, Serco, Capgemini, and Boston Analytics. Sameer holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, and a Nanodegree in Natural Language Processing from Udacity.
